D1/APR18 CEBU -MANILA—DUBAI
Depart from Cebu in the afternoon.
D2/APR19 DUBAI—AMMAN - MT. NEBO—PETRA
Arrival @ 0945—After customs and immigration formalities. Start our Amman city tour to Madaba where we will view the oldest map in the world and visit the Memorial of Moses at Mt. Nebo. Accommodation, dinner and overnight in Petra.(L/D)
D3/APR20 PETRA—ALLENBY/ARAVA BRIDGE— NAZARETH
Early breakfast at the hotel. Start our tour to visit the fabled rose city of Petra, the 2,000 year old Nabatean capital accidentally rediscovered in 1812. Ride by horse to the Siq, a half mile long unforgettable gorges. Experience the “Indiana Jones film. At last you stand in awe in front of the Treasury, a Wonder of the World—a rose colored monumental building artfully carved out of sheer rock. Continue on to see the other temples and tombs carved into the mountainside. Proceed to Allenby to cross the border to Israel. Drive to Nazareth. Dinner and overnight.(BLD)
D4/APR21 NAZARETH - CANA - TABOR – YARDENIT - MT. CARMEL
Drive to Cana for renewal of marriage vows. Cana was the place of Jesus’ first miracle by changing water into wine, at the request of His mother. Continue to Mt. Tabor which is 1,900 feet above sea level. This was so significant as Jesus choose this site for His transfiguration. Renew Baptismal vow to Yardenit, here we will find the Jordan River. “Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him”. On to Haifa on the slopes of Mount Carmel from the Hebrew word “Karem El” meaning “vineyard of God”. This was also the place where Prophet Elijah confronted the false prophets of Baal and where the Carmelite Order was started. This place was named “Muhraka” Arabic word for burn as fire rained down from heaven and burned Elijah’s offering. Dinner and overnight. (BLD)
D5/APR22 MT. CARMEL - CAPERNAUM - TABGHA MT. OF BEATITUDES -SEA of GALILEE
Drive to Capernaum, where Jesus lived after He left Nazareth. He made many miracles at the home of St. Peter’s mother-in-law. Proceed to Tabgha - the site of the miracle of the multiplication of loaves & fish. On the floor below the altar, is a mosaic of a basket of loaves and fish to commemorate the miraculous event. Three hundred fifty meters away is the church of Peter’s Primacy. The church was built on a massive rock called “Mensa Christi” or the Lord’s table where Jesusprepared breakfast for the disciples and where Peter was given the pastoral commission “feed my sheep”. Continue to Mount of Beatitudes, the site where Jesus uttered the Immortal words “Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of God”. Have our lunch then boat ride to the Sea of Galilee. Back to the hotel. (BLD)
D6/APR23 SEA OF GALILEE—DEAD SEA - JERICHO -JERUSALEM (NEW CITY)
Continue our journey as the group should take a chance for a quick dip at the Dead Sea, it is so called because of the absence of any animal life in its waters. The dead sea is famous for its therapeutic properties, especially in the treatment of skin disorders. Drive to Jericho, which is considered the oldest city in the world to have been discovered so far.Jericho is the place where Jesus cured the blind man Bartimaeus (Mark 10:46-52), and also where the publican Zaccheus, who was short of stature, climbed a sycamore tree so he could see Jesus. Ascend by Cable Car to the Mt. ofTemptation,where Jesus fasted and was tempted by Satan. (BLD)
D7/APR24 JERUSALEM (NEW CITY) – EIN KAREM
See the Church of the Ascension, the Pater Noster and onto the Mt. of Olives to walk the Palm Sunday Road route stopping at “Dominus Flevit” Church - shaped like a tear as this was the place where Jesus wept over Jerusalem. Proceed to the Church of All Nations& the Garden of Gethsemane, the Rock of Agony where Jesus prayed His last prayer before His arrest then celebrate the Holy Mass. Proceed to visit the Shepherd’s Field, where the angels announced the birth of Jesus. The Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, the site of the tomb of Rachel and the site where Jesus was born. See the FranciscanChurch of St. Catherine of Alexandria and see the crypt where St. Jerome lived and translated the Holy Bible to Latin known as the Vulgate or Vulgata. St. Jerome said “Ignorance of the Bible is ignorance of Jesus Christ”. Continue to EinKarem, the birthplace of St. John the Baptist. A Franciscan Monastery was built in his honor in the house of his parents, Zachary and Elizabeth. On to Emmaus, the name of a place which has been proposed to be located in various sites in present-day Israel and the West Bank, that has proven important in Christian teachings and named in Luke 24:13 as the location of one of the visitations of the risen Christ. Continue to the Church of the Visitation, where the Blessed Mother went to visit her cousin Elizabeth. “Blessed are you among women” Elizabeth greeted her and Mary responded her with “Magnificat”. D8/APR25 JERUSALEM (OLD CITY) – TEL AVIV—ROME (FLY)
Visit the Church of Dormition Abbey where we believe the Blessed Mary died. Proceed to visit the Mt. Zion, the Hall of the Last Supper, the Upper Room and King David’s Tomb. Retrace the last steps of Jesus as we walk along the Via Dolorosa (Way of Sorrow), through the markets of the Old City praying the Station of the Cross and reflect on the greatness of His sacrifice. Proceed to visit the HolySepulchre. Continue to the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu where Peter denied Jesus thrice and here also the House of the High Priest Caiaphas. See the Pool of Bethesda, the Church of St. Anne Church the home of the Virgin Mary and her parents St. Joachim and St. Anne. Mass will be celebrated today. Have our visit and reflect to the Wailing Wall the Holy site of the Jews. Check out from your hotel and prepare for your transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for your flight to Rome.(B/L/D)
D9/APR26 ROME - CLASSICAL W/ VATICAN MUSEUM
Enjoy our whole day in Rome visiting the Vatican City, Vatican Museum, Spanish Steps, Basilica of St. Paul the Santa Croce in Gerusalemethen we will also continue to see Rome’s classic Churches such as the impressive Basilicas of San Giovanni de Laterano(nearby is the Scala Santa or Holy Stairs), Santa Maggiore, Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. D10/APR27 ROME (CANONIZATION EVENT)
Early morning 5:00am transfer to Vatican to witness the historic Canonization of Blessed Pope john Paul II at the Saint Peter’s Square by His Holiness, Pope Francis I. Spend the rest of the afternoon exploring Rome on your own. Do your souvenir shopping before your last day in Rome. To properly pack your things. (B/L/D)
D11/APR28 ROME—ASSISI—FLORENCE
Start our day visiting the tomb of St Francis of Assisi. Explore the quaint hilltop birthplace of St Francis of Assisi that still retains something of the atmosphere of the early 1200s, the period when St Francis began his ministry. It was in St Mary of the Angels Basilicawhere St Francis spent most of his life. Here we visit the Chapel, Portiuncola, the rose bush, and the cave where the saint retired for prayer. Stroll the medieval streets of the compact little town. We go now to the Church of St Clare to see the saint's incorrupt body, the foundress of the Order of Poor Clares. Continue to Florence. (B/L/D)
D12/APR29 FLORENCE—PISA—PADOVA
En route to the town of Pisa, with the main attraction is the Leaning Tower, situated near Piazza deiMiracoli (Square of Miracles). Within this complex we also see the gothic chapel Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta. We will be seeing the National museum of San Matteo. Travel through Umbria & Tuscany area, arriving in Venice, the “sinking city”.Explore Venice and enjoy some of the greatest sights you’ll ever see St. Mark’s Square, The Golden Basilica of San Marco, the Bridge of Sighs, and the extraordinary visit of Dodges’ Palace. You will have some free time to shop, optional for gondola ride. Proceed to Milan. (B/L/D)

Visit the Cathedral of Duomo di Milano, the 2ND largest cathedral of the world and the world’s largest collection of marble statues with the widely visible golden Madonna statue on top of the spire, la Madunina (little Madonna), the symbol of Milan. At the opposite end is the famousTeatroalllaScala (or la Scala) one of the world’s most famous opera house. Nearby is the church of Santa Maria della Grazie.We head now to the airport for our flight back home. (B/L)
